This is one of the easiest dips to make and it is so delicious! My college roommate Liz taught me this recipe and we’ve simply added some spice to it to kick up the flavor. Over the years we have experimented with various versions of this recipe: we’ve added sauteed shallots, or minced serrano pepper, etc. These are great additions to the dip if you have the time! Otherwise, here is the quicker and simpler version:
Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
16 ounce can of your favorite chili
1 tablespoon hot sauce
Directions:
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients.
2. Melt cream cheese into the chili.
Serve warm with corn chips.
That’s it! It’s that simple!
