This bbq sauce is amazing…it’s sweet, it’s tangy, it’s spicy, it’s savory, IT’S THE BEST! Brady likes to use it on lots of different kinds of meat, but especially on ribs or chicken. It would also be great on pork and steak. Last Saturday Brady smoked some baby back ribs so he decided to make up a batch of his great sauce (which is adapted from my dad’s recipe) as well!
Ingredients:

Whisking bbq sauce ingredients together!
1 cup chili sauce ¼ cup brown sugar, to taste
¼ cup apple cider vinegar ½ cup whiskey
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 3 tablespoons apricot jam
Juice of one lime ½ cup ketchup
1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
¼ cup molasses
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or Santa Fe Dry Rub)
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Simmering to perfection.
Directions: Combine ingredients in a saucepan and gently simmer for 45-60 minutes, until thickened. Adjust seasonings to taste. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Ribs just prior to being slathered with sauce. Yum!
