Our yummy Santa Maria Dry Rub covered tri-tip dinner.
Yummmmm! We had this delicious rub on some tri-tip steak tonight for dinner. Brady put the rub on about 4 hours prior to throwing it on the grill to cook. The flavor was delicious and the meat was tender and juicy. We used the bbq to cook the meat, but you could certainly broil or bake it too. It’s your choice! Enjoy!
* This recipe will make about 6 tablespoons of dry rub; we used a bunch on the meat and had some leftover.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
½ teaspoon lemon pepper
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Rub on meat or fish of choice and allow to sit (in the refrigerator) for several hours for flavors to penetrate. Then cook meat or fish as desired and enjoy!
