I think it can be sort of stressful trying to dress up a table for a nice dinner. To use candles or not…flowers or not…holiday ornaments or not…etc. I’ve been surfing the net trying to get some tips for us New in the Kitchen folks. Most of these ideas are for neat DIY centerpieces. For help on how to set the silverware and such on the table visit our handy guide.
Here are ten really super ideas:
1. Cedar Centerpiece – This craft project looks quick and easy. I’ve definitely seen the foam blocks that this idea uses at my local craft store. The end product is great and the photos in the directions are fabulous too.
2. Ornaments in a Pedestal Bowl – Love this cute idea of putting shiny and matte ornaments in a glass bowl. Check it out! It can’t get easier than this.
3. Candle Forest – Just the name of this decoration got me intrigued. This turns out to be an elegant tray of three candles with pine fronds and such. Very cute!
4. Felt Cone Christmas Tree - I could see this craft being very cute on a table…especially if you had a group of three or five of them, perhaps even in different sizes. Very cute!
5. Santa Napkin Rings - The finished product looks really, really cute. Looks like they could take a bit of time, but might be worth it!
6. 10 Quick-and-Easy Napkin Ring Ideas! - This is our article and ideas for easy napkin rings. Woohoo!
7. Snowmen Placecard - These are so so soooo cute! I will definitely be making them this season.
8. Pinecone Elves - Although it looks like these little elves are meant for decorating a gift, I think the whole setup would be perfect for a table centerpiece!!
9. Wrap it Up Centerpiece – What a neat idea! Wrap up some small boxes and stack them up as centerpieces! Very cute!
10. Ribbon Runner – Great idea – using Holiday themed ribbons to create a pretty table runner!! Neat.
