This area of the site will be dedicated to recommendations for great kitchen tools. Check back often, we’ll be adding new stuff!
Citrus Juicer – This handheld juicer is easy to use and catches the seeds. We love ours!
Food Processor – Great for everything from kneeding dough to blend spice mixes to making salsa. We use ours weekly!
Wok – A handy pan to have when making stir-fry, ginger noodles, scrambled eggs, fried rice, etc.
Ladle – For years we served soup or sauce using measuring cups. We have now discovered the joy of having a ladle and will never go back.
Saute and Fry Pans – We have three various sized frying pans and one saute pan. We use them for almost anything we do on the stove. Both are very useful pans to have. LOVE THEM!
Immersion Blender – My dad first introduced us to this handy kitchen tool. It is mostly used for pureeing soups or smoothies right in the container. For example, you can puree a soup right in the soup pot. VERY COOL!

these citrus juicers, while nice for a while, do not last. the paint peel, crack, blister and are unusable after a while. better off getting a manual glass or metal juicer and put in a little energy to get out the juice.
Thanks for the tip! Good to know they don’t last all that long. We just bought one…oh well…
yep, there were very pretty, I got the green one for limes and liked it very much until it started blistering and peeling. Might have gotten 2 years use out of it. I have an old metal (maybe aluminum, not sure) hand held version my grandmother had for years. It’s still going strong.
Happy Cooking!
